Buy Moto G Power at just $200 and present a Valentine Day Gift

Motorola Moto G Power is a $200 phone that allows multiple days of use because its 5,000mAh powerful battery is the most attractive feature of the smartphone. It is the same capacity you’ll find in top-of-the-line devices like the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Cheaper components of the device allow Motorola to sell a $200 version phone and it is also less power-hungry. This device bears the same name as its predecessor from last year, but it is different in some key features. The G Power is offered in the aforementioned $200 variant with 3GB of RAM and a paltry 32GB of storage. There is also a 4GB RAM / 64GB storage option available for $250. The current year’s models drop the ultra-wide camera and gain a slightly larger screen.

Moto G Power has a 6.6-inch screen compared to the last year’s 6.4-inch with a lower 720p resolution 1080p. However, the Motorola One 5G Ace has a slightly larger 6.7-inch screen. Moto G Power uses a Snapdragon 662 processor, but it is slower than a 700-series chipset. So, the device has a bit slower performance during jumping between apps and opening the camera. It needs more time to capture and process images in Portrait and Night Vision modes than the Ace does with the same main camera sensor. The heavier tasks like jumping in and out of Google Maps navigation shows noticeable stuttering. But you will not find much better performance at the $200 price point. The device has the ability to perform daily tasks, plays videos, and navigates adequately. Motorola G Power offers expandable storage with a microSD card slot.

Point to be noted that the 32GB version is already occupied by Android 10 files, so you should pay $50 more for the 64GB model. The company will offer an upgrade to Android 11 if you buy a budget phone with a microSD card. It will provide security updates for the Moto G Power until January 2023. Motorola’s claim of up to 3-days of battery life is entirely reasonable. The device offers a 48-megapixel main camera that produces 12-megapixel images, a 2-megapixel macro camera, a depth sensor to create portrait mode photos, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The colors look appropriately vibrant when its AI recognizes a scene like a landscape, but otherwise, it tends toward flat, washed-out colors. The Moto G Power doesn’t have the processing power to pull off more sophisticated HDR or low light photography. So, you’d need to step up to the $350 Pixel 4A.
