Lenovo ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook Enterprise has a powerful AMD Ryzen processor offering security and performance for high-end users. The new Chromebook features AMD Ryzen 5 3500C CPU, 8GB of RAM, a 256GB PCIe solid-state drive (SSD), and a Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) IPS anti-glare display. It also featured some add-ons, including a hybrid active capacitive pen and a 5MB world-facing camera. Lenovo is offering the device for a price after a coupon of $859. The ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook follows the same general aesthetic pattern as the rest of the ThinkPad line. It is all-black with a few changing like the flashing LED “i” in the ThinkPad logo on the lid and the red accent on the keyboard provided by the TrackPoint nubbin. Lenovo skipped the red stripes along with the TrackPoint buttons.

The chassis lines are also a little more complex than the ThinkPad X1 Nano. The ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook is as well-built as its Windows 10 competitors, including the HP Spectre x360 13 and the Dell XPS 13. Some of the chin’s size is to accommodate the 2-in-1 hinge, but it’s a far less modern look than the ThinkPad X1 Nano and the Dell XPS 13. It’s also slightly chunky at 0.70 inches thick, compared to the XPS 13 at 0.58 inches and the Spectre x360 13 at 0.67 inches. The ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook weighs 3.3 pounds while the XPS 13 and the Spectre x360 13 weigh 2.8 pounds. There are a few security features, including the ThinkShutter slider (to cover the webcam) and a fingerprint scanner for a secure, quick, and reliable way to log in without a password.

ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook offers reliable connectivity. The left side of the device has a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a microSD card reader. The right side of the Chromebook has another USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port and a full-size HDMI 2.0 connection. Its Wireless connectivity is up to date with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. AMD Pointed out that the Ryzen 5 3000C series offers double to triple the previous AMD Chrome OS offering’s performance, the Athlon A6 series. The battery can reportedly last for 7.25 hours, which is about 40 minutes less than both the Dell Latitude 7410 Chromebook and the Lenovo Chromebook Flex 5 with an Intel Core i3-10110U. The ThinkPad C13 Yoga Chromebook’s pen supports 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity and its keyboard is exactly like the one you’ll find on ThinkPad X1 Nano.
