Our Story
October 2019, Moxley purchased a home with a Barn for his woodworking business, and along with this home is a Three Acre Walnut Orchard. The trees were old and neglected so Moxley wanted to restore their vigor. When he purchased this home, the trees were in harvest, so he decided to jump into this harvest with both feet.
This community of Red Bluff CA was so welcoming, everyone helped Moxley with no Egos, only Comradeship, and this could be said that this was a beautiful thing.
We were able to get the walnuts harvested, shelled, inspected, certified of quality, and boxed for sale. And our first harvest of 2019 was a nice 1200 pounds of walnut meats, boxed in 25-pound boxes.
Winter of 2020, we Pruned this neglected orchard, we sprayed organically approved pesticides for Blite and fertilized the soil and trees. Spring 2020 the trees are showing so much growth and Vigor, they are producing nut clusters of three and four nuts to a cluster.
