पुलवामा में हुए आतंकी हमले के बाद भारत के साथ बढ़े ‘‘तनाव को कम’’ करने के लिए पाकिस्तान ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र से तत्काल हस्तक्षेप करने की अपील की है । पाकिस्तान विदेश मंत्रालय ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि, देश के विदेश मंत्री शाह महमूद कुरैशी ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासचिव एंतोनियो गुतारेस को सोमवार को पत्र भेजकर दोनों देशों के बीच तनाव कम करने में उनकी मदद मांगी ।बता दें कि, कश्मीर के पुलवामा जिले में हुए आतंकी हमले में करीब 40 जवान शहीद हो गए । इस हमले की जिम्मेदारी खुद पाकिस्तान के आतंकी जैश-ए-मोहम्मद ने ली है । इस हमले से भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच अब तनाव की स्थिति पैदा हो गई है । कुरैशी ने अपने पत्र में लिखा, ‘‘मैं भारत द्वारा पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ बल प्रयोग के खतरे के कारण हमारे क्षेत्र में खराब हो रहे सुरक्षा हालात की ओर आपका ध्यान आकर्षित करता हूं.’’भारत ने कश्मीर मामले पर किसी भी तीसरे पक्ष के हस्तक्षेप को नकार दिया है और वह कहता आया है कि भारत एवं पाकिस्तान के संबंधों से जुड़े सभी मामलों को द्विपक्षीय तरीके से सुलझाया जाना चाहिए। कुरैशी ने अपने पत्र में कहा कि भारतीय सीआरपीएफ जवानों पर पुलवामा में हमला स्पष्ट तौर पर एक कश्मीर निवासी ने किया था.
