Built on Office 365, Microsoft 365 gets artificial intelligence (AI), rich content, and cloud-supported templates and experiences to empower people in various ways.
Microsoft recently introduced a refreshed version of Office 365. Built on Office 365, Microsoft 365 gets artificial intelligence (AI), rich content, and cloud-supported templates and experiences to empower people in various ways. Microsoft 365 is a subscription-based service available for personal and family use. Microsoft 365 Personal and Family plans will be available from April 21, at a starting price of Rs 4,199 per year.
For the best value, a family of up to six can use the Microsoft 365 Family for Rs 5,299 per year, the company said in a statement.
Microsoft 365's new plans for personal and family activities will include:
Access to Outlook and Office desktop applications for Windows and macOS.
- 1 Terabyte of OneDrive per person.
- Fifty gigabytes of Outlook.com email storage.
Skype and 60 minutes Skype phone calls and cell phones.
Besides, Microsoft has introduced two new experiences with Microsoft 365 available for review in the coming months.
A new 'Family Safety' app is developed to keep families safe across the digital and physical worlds.
Microsoft is reviewing new features in the Home for Teams that are now part of Microsoft 365 subscriptions designed to allow friends and family to connect in a group chat or video call.
Microsoft is adding a lot of Office-related features with the move to Microsoft 365.
Anyway, what I dislike about Microsoft Office 365 is that it doesn't offer any sustainable backup. Microsoft does offer Office 365 backup, but not the one which company owners and businesses would agree to. Backing up Office 365 is a must!
Every business needs a strong backup because they cannot afford to lose any essential data. The solution lies with Altaro and their specifically-developed software for Office 365 backup.
