Choose the Best Home for House Swapping

The majority of luxury trips are put together by following a predictable plan for house swapping. It’s a blueprint that doesn’t change every day, not even on the Grand Tour. The first question is always what to do next. Travel is readily available, and we tend to get involved.

In the 17th and 18th centuries, we visited the Louvre, visited the Pantheon, and rode through London with our eyes open. Think how many of us now have more time, internet access, and entire families at home for the first time in years.

Create a bucket list of destinations you would like to visit. Ask your friends and relatives for good holiday recommendations. See if you like a place that you would find good if you decided to visit. Take a look at his website house swapping so he knows how to plan a holiday.

I would like to apply for a holiday from Monday 2 October to Friday 6 October so that I can go on holiday with the family during this time. I’m going to make sure we have cover in the support queue and I’m going to distribute the playbook to the team so it’s clear who owns which expenditure. Everyone will be reachable by phone, not e-mail.

Finding the balance between planning and sub-planning works well for us. We’re not Hermione Granger level planners. A lot of super cool, rousing guys swinging in and out of the scene are not us. But just because we plan house swapping or trips in advance doesn’t mean that we plan itineraries every minute, and that can be stressful. We like to research and prepare ourselves before we arrive to minimize the time we spend in our hostels and hotels to find out what the WTF is.
