Har Ki Dun - The Place Of Mountains

The Har Ki Dun Valley, located at an elevation of 3558 m, in the Himalayan mountains, is also called the Valley of Gods, and the Hanging Valley. A word about it’s exotic beauty spread far and wide, making this trek in Uttarakhand popular internationally. The Har Ki Dun, or the Har Ki Doon Trek, is considered to be one of the best trekking places in India. 

The total distance covered by the Har Ki Doon trek is around 47 km. The terrain remains largely a gradual incline or decline. And the maximum distance covered by the trek during a  day is 26 km! Therefore, the trek is considered to be of moderate difficulty. The base camp for the trek will be at Sankri, perched at a height of 11,675 ft. During this adventure, you will spend your days traversing through forests filled with mystical alpine flora and thrilling mountainous fauna and up mountain-sides, basking in all the Himalayan glory.
