Then the manager of that particular area would ask each of the local sales teams to take a look at their numbers and see if they could beat the numbers that were listed during the presentation. Once the managers got back with the winning numbers, they would be team members and be able to enjoy their status as a team member.

When it comes to being a team member, you will find that the relationships among the members of your sales team will be stronger than ever before. You may find that some of your local teams actually prefer to work with some of the members from the other teams instead of making exceptions for them. This can prove to be beneficial to your overall team morale. Team members who are able to easily work together to understand what is expected of them and know how to communicate effectively with each other.

There is also the opportunity to have fun together when you are on a sales team. There is no reason why the members of your team should dread working together or dread the prospects of having a meeting. Team spirit should be strong and there should be an eagerness among the members of the sales team to actually make a sale. Sales teams that do not actively promote each other will have a low morale and very low employee retention rate. Team spirit is something that can be contagious and can really push a team to do their best while on a sales call.

Keller Williams also stressed the importance of maintaining professional speaking skills when talking to the team members during a sales call. If the team does not know the questions to ask, it can be difficult for the team member to answer them or for the interviewer to understand the answers. The salesman has to use his own language and manner in order to impress the customer and show the team he wants to work with them to achieve the goals they have set forth.

The sales representatives have to be pleasant when answering questions and listening to questions from the team members. The customer has to feel comfortable with all of the sales representatives in the call. When there are issues between the team members it causes tension within the entire organization and the sales representative cannot make any headway with the customer. Team unity is very important because the sales representatives cannot depend upon one another on every call and have to depend on their fellow sales team members to get the job done.

Team functions very well under the direction of a seasoned professional such as Keller Williams. He has experience working with many different types of sales teams and has a way of making them bond quickly. With so many different elements to manage during a day's worth of sales, a new management team may not be able to handle this effectively. Team function and cooperation are what makes teams successful and Keller Williams knows exactly how to bring out these qualities in his management teams.
