Religious Painting is any work whose subject supports the moral message of the religion it wants to portray.

In this context, religion refers to any group of human beliefs that they believe to be sacred, sacred, spiritual or divine - whether the gods are included or not. Since ancient times, the most common type of religious art has been painting and portable sculpture.

The function of religious art is to conquer the converts directly or indirectly. Architecture is therefore the dominant form, as a church can inspire, teach and house a congregation.
