Power Washing is a form of painting contractor business that uses industrial pressure washers to clean various projects. They are also known as pressure washers. Pressure washing is also the application of high-pressure hot water spray for cleaning upholstery, mold, dirt, dust, gum, sand, mud and debris from surfaces and non-porous objects like concrete surfaces, buildings and vehicles. Power Washing as a profession can be done by individuals, small companies and large industrial cleaning firms. Power washing services can be availed by homeowners and commercial businesses for regular cleaning of their premises, parking lots and other areas.

Power Washing as a service has become extremely popular for its affordability and easy process. You don't have to do tons of jobs, hire painters, pay huge amounts of money for siding and other exterior materials, or maintain your home regularly with cleaning. Power washing as a service is also a great and affordable way to get your exterior surfaces cleaned thoroughly. You can even get them clean without spending too much of your hard earned money.

Many people who live in the towns of Westchester County in Upstate New York are familiar with the phrase "upside down washing". The phrase means that your driveway and or poolside walkway is filled with an unsightly green, yellow and brown algae and it is getting on your shingles and your siding. It's no fun to look out on your beautiful lawn and notice that it's covered in brown algae and you can't do anything about it. To top it all off, when it gets to that point and you finally call a power washing expert in you will find that they will not only come to your rescue immediately, but they will be able to help you prevent this type of algae buildup from happening in the future.

The solution to this problem is using hot water and a power washing machine to help you clean up your driveway, walkways and deck. The reason that these two solutions work so well is because they are able to break down the excess oil and grime that are stuck to the surface of the wood, brick or stone. Once this oil and grime are broken down, it is then easier for the Power Washing machine to clean the surface. In addition to this, using hot water will also help to loosen up any dirt or grass that might have been trapped beneath the algae.

Many homeowners are often unsure about how to go about pressure washing their own driveways and sidewalks. Fortunately, with today's modern power washing machines, this task is fairly easy. Typically you will need to gather your materials before you start this job, which includes a bucket and a hose, a power washing brush, high pressure water and a power washing attachment for your garden pump or water pump. It is important that you remember to keep these items far away from the area you will be working in order to avoid getting any type of spray residue onto your freshly cleaned surfaces. Additionally, before you begin to wash your driveway or walkways, make sure you wash them with a high pressure water and a detergent to ensure that they are completely clean.

Before you begin power washing your driveway or walkways, first fill the bucket with either a light form of liquid, such as lemon juice or milk, or a paste of baking soda and vinegar. It is important that you use the same type of liquid or product when applying both the brushing and the power washing solution. Also, it is important that you rinse all of your brushes thoroughly before beginning the actual cleaning process in order to reduce the risk of getting any type of harmful spray residue onto your freshly cleaned surfaces.

After you have made sure that your surfaces are completely clean, you are ready to begin the actual cleaning process. To start off, it is important that you press down on both sides of the area you are about to clean, and apply both the brushing and the power washing solution to the area in small, even strokes. It is important that you work in small circles and try to reach as far up on the surface as possible. This will prevent you from having to scrub hard to reach spots, which can leave scratches on your freshly cleaned surfaces. Once you have applied both the brushing solution and the power washing solution to your areas, it is important that you let the solution dry for a minimum of five minutes before you proceed. You may want to give yourself extra time for the solution to dry, especially if you find that the spots you want to remove are stubborn and you don't see any reduction in the stain once it has dried.
