Method 1: Use the original .TLG file with .QBW.adr file

  • To initiate the process, generate a new folder on your desktop and name it the QBTest folder.
  • In the next step, search for the folder that consists of your data file.
  • Now, within the company file folder, you need to look for the.TLG file. The . TLG file that you are searching for represents the same name as your data file.
  • Once you get the .TLG file you are supposed to copy the file and save it to the QBTest folder that you have recently created.
  • Afterward, launch the QuickBooksAutoDataRecovery file and then copy the .QBW.adr file and paste it to the QBTest folder.
  • Proceeding further from the QBTest folder, navigate and then right-click the QBW.adr file and click Rename.
  • Thereafter, remove .adr from the end of the file and launch QB.
  • Following this, access the data file stored on the QBTest folder and then use your account register to check whether all the transactions are mentioned properly.

    Soon after this, search for the TLG.adr and .QBW.adr files from the QuickBooksAutoDataRecovery folder.
  • Following this, copy the.TLG.adr and .QBW.adr files and paste it to QBTest folder.
  • Now, from the QBTest folder, remove .adr from the file name and then launch QB and your data file.
