Rishi Sunak is a rising star in UK politics. Not only that, he is also the son-in-law of NRN Murthy, the founder of Infosys.
NRN Murthy also owns a firm which holds majority stake in Cloudtail, a controversial Amazon-created company which is currently under investigation by the CCI for receiving “preferential treatment” as a vendor on Amazon.
Rishi Sunak is the Chancellor of Exchequer in the UK government who has also been instrumental in formulating the historical G7 tax reform agreement at Cornwall recently.
His closeness to the family which does business with Amazon and involvement in the policy which will affect Big Tech players like Amazon has become the flavour of British politics this week.
