c) Work On Your Business: The last step in becoming an influencer is to continuously work on your business. People will not do business with you if they do not know that you exist. In order to stay visible online, you need to constantly update your information, create content, and share videos on YouTube. It is also a good idea to set up a blog and write regular articles to keep your readers informed. These are just a few examples of the things that you can do. Stay consistent, be professional, and you should be successful.
f) Build Relationships: The fourth and final step is to build relationships. You will not be successful if people do not like you. You should always treat others with respect no matter what they might tweet about you. Even if they disagree with you, remember that you cannot change others. Treat everyone in the same manner so that you will become known as an expert in your niche.
g) Be Flexible: The world of blogging is very competitive, especially for the top influencers. Therefore, you need to be flexible. You may start one thing and later on, decide to expand. For example, if you decided to launch an eBook on healthcare and become a blogger on that topic, then maybe after a few months you may want to expand to become a speaker instead of a blogger. By being flexible and knowing when to move on, you will have fewer mistakes.
h) Build Your Website: One of the best ways to become an influencer is to build your own website and promote it. This will help you create credibility and will show you have a business that is not just going to take your word for it but actually implement what you say. This will increase your traffic and will eventually get you on the path to being viewed as an expert in your field. Just remember to make sure that you have content that is informative and does not just spout the same information you've read hundreds of times already.
o) Be More Involved in Social Media: Becoming an influencer is all about social media. Once you have built up a solid following of followers, you should start participating more in the various social sites. Start posting links to your articles and blogs in your bio section and join the various networking sites like Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and more. The more you participate the more credible you will be, and the more links back to your sites, the better!
