Here comes the M1X chipset with new horsepower and sleek design patterns, along with the newest materials included.

With the upcoming event of Worldwide Developers Conference 2021, Apple’s major expectation is to reveal the new MacBook Pro this year. According to the rumors, changes in the MacBook Pro will be better in comparison to the model released last year. The major change that Apple is including is expected to be in terms of performance, which will be the new Apple Silicon processor, and currently known as M1X. The M1X processor is designed to power the other Mac devices as well, which also includes a Mac mini. In an announcement video, Jon Prosser has said that the Mac mini 2021 will get to feature a new industrial design along with other improvisations.

Jon Prosser conveyed via a YouTube video that the next model of Mac mini-computer will shift the focus from a high-end Intel-based model. Considering all these factors, it looks like we might be getting an affordable Mac mini this year that will acquire entry-level specifications. But the most surprising change will be improvisation in Mac mini design, which is said to be sleeker in comparison to the existing model.

According to Prosser, the Mac mini will get a new external chassis with a reflective finish (plexiglass-like) on the top, but the remaining body will be designed in aluminum. The newly improvised design will be all-in of the connectivity ports, which were not included in the M1 Mac mini. The M1X Mac mini might be offered with four USB 4.0 or thunderbolts 3 ports, an Ethernet port, HDMI out port, and two USB-A ports. The 2021 model Mac mini is most likely to utilize the same power connector, which M1 iMac uses. It is a magnetic connector designed in a round shape.

Prosser also stated that Apple might introduce dual-tune colorways in the forthcoming computer due to the glass-like finish given on the top of the Mac mini. And it is also expected that the range of the new Mac mini will match the identical to the 24 inch iMac. Apple has launched approximately six new color transitions for the iMac including the regular one with the Grey variant. And same goes for the Mac mini as well, as it is available in metallic Grey color but is expected to include major changes in appearance.

M1X Mac Mini with Sleek Design

As mentioned earlier, it is said that Apple is shifting from the aluminum design, but the frame of the M1X Mac mini will remain aluminum. It provides the Mac mini with an impressive two-tone look, which can be utilized for new colors identical to the M1 iMac. The back of the M1X Mac mini looks even more interesting. Instead of utilizing a universal two-prong power cable, the new Mac mini will be given a similar magnetic power connector intact to the M1 iMac. And as usual, Apple surprised us by removing the headphone jack. There will be things notable to the Apple fans that the cutout for the fan has been shifted from the back frame to the bottom side.

To conclude, the overall design of the M1X Mac mini looks interesting and promising. There is currently nothing odd about the design, but there could be a few more add-ons like additional power if the M1X chipset, two more USB Type-C ports, and a thinner footprint, then it will be a perfect combination for success. Apple is placing its 2021 computer lineup with unstoppable speed and introducing updates as well.

META– Worldwide Developers Conference 2021 is coming, and Apple has already begun its improvisation program with M1X Mac mini. It has a sleeker and plexiglass-like look.
