The Night Last Prom: Prom night brings Last Night Of The Proms Tickets

COVID has affected many things in the last 15 months, but the dance must continue. On June 5, in the Chemenus High School class of 2021, the number of graduates was thankfully less than. The maximum allowed for a public meeting. Graduates first passed Chemenus and Crofton for a driving ceremony. Where the community paid tribute to them before gathering for a formal procedure at the Kauykan exhibition grounds. Before their big moment, it was as close to normal as the graduates had expected.

We asked the three proms graduate what it felt like if it was all. They wanted after the prospect that nothing would happen due to COVID.

Hannah Starkie said: “Our prom day has finally arrived, it’s a ‘normal’ exciting time. We haven’t had it in a long time.” We want to do something interesting all year round. But our plans have changed so many times that it’s hard to be optimistic. There are real dates that finally come as a relief that we can really enthuse and celebrate ourselves! Our prom day comes closest to normal things that have been felt all year round. Having a graduate class for children under 50 means we can have outdoor dinners. With prices and photos and get dressed all the way to celebrate!

“Honestly, due to the restrictions covid imposes, I don’t expect much. For example, that indoor activities might be better for us, because girls in bad weather don’t have jackets. Or vests to wear late, so the dance ends earlier than what’s being told,” Adda Sweet added.

“I had a great time at the ball,” Zara Pollock said. ‘Of course, it’s not what we all thought, it’s outside. Not allowed to dance, but I thank all of us for being together.

Walking along the red carpet in the city center, it’s a rite of war for Cemenus graduates. So we asked them what they thought of it to get around the tradition and whether to drive past Chemainus. And Croatia would help fill the void.

“I can tell a lot of people that they feel sorry for my graduate class. That’s for sure, but we did what we had again,” Sweet said. “Self-driving is fun and people support it.
