Amandeep Singh is a model and actor who hails from Punjab. Shares his journey in an interview who hails from a little town called Jagraon in Punjab, to star during a prominent role in an Australian-Indian production and be appreciated for an equivalent, which has been nothing in need of a dream. The young actor played the role of a terrorist within the critically-acclaimed action-thriller Hotel Mumbai supported the 2008 surprise attack on the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai. Amandeep Singh shares his journey in an interview.

How did your journey in acting begin?

My father features a lot of singer friends in Punjab. They might take me to concerts with them and that I was amazed at the type of fan following that they had. Even once I joined my engineering course, it had been only for the sake of doing it. I failed four out of 5 exams! It became clear to me that I even have to try to do something different. I had done a few music videos in Punjab then, I assumed of doing an acting course in Mumbai.

Amandeep, How were the beginning few days of your struggle in Mumbai?

I come from a little place and that I had rarely stepped out of Punjab. This was the primary time I used to be living on their lonesome during a big city like Mumbai. It opened my eyes. I noticed that acting is about studying attributes, understanding yourself and your habits. It’s a gorgeous craft. Then I'm also attached to spirituality. I noticed that acting maybe a study of life. I used to be struggling for 2 years then, going from one audition to a different one. There are times once I have given eight auditions during a day! My father wasn't very supportive.

How did you handle bagging the terrorist’s character in Hotel Mumbai?

Before I got this film, I used to be alleged to do a football-based film with Anupam Kher but it got shelved. One day, my flat mate told me he going for the audition test of a Hollywood movie and to return along for it. I assumed my English isn't that great, but he insisted, so I went by. Once we went there, we realized the audition is in Punjabi! The casting director gave us a couple of lines and told us to organize them and obtain them back in two days. I knew that this is often getting to be an enormous Hollywood film and that I knew I had to figure hard and not let this role get away. I used to be so dedicated to the present. I got the role but I had to attend another month to understand needless to say that I'm doing it.

How’s the struggle now?

I still choose auditions but now people have started knowing me. Talks are happening. I’m hospitable to all types of excellent content and something significant will happen soon. I even have an agent in LA also, so all the doors are open now.
