Positions such as temperature screeners, retail staffing, cashiering, admin support, swab takers, packers, warehousing assistants, call centre agents and digital ambassadors are on the rise, while event assistants, flyer distributors, brand ambassadors, surveyors, event coordinators, promoters and models seem to have come to a temporary halt.
In Singapore, we are looking at Phase 2 of the circuit breaker coming into effect on 19 June, where retail stores, gyms, food and beverages outlets and most businesses being able to go back to their business-as-usual state, albeit with restrictions and measures in play to avoid a resurgence of a second viral wave.
