Charitystars Gets it All

My girlfriend and I have been dating each other for the past three years and we love each other's company..we are high school sweethearts, then we got separated as we studied college in different cities and now we are working for companies in two different countries..long distance is hard, I agree.. but we are sailing through this ship while being strong for each other and standing by each other's side emotionally, mentally and psychologically.

Just because of this long-distance, it is very rare that we meet each other, it is mostly phone calls, messages and lots of skyping. We have been talking on phones so much that we even fall asleep while on a call with each other.

It has just been a hectic year as both of us had back-to-back training, assessments, consignments, projects, socials, and whatnot..amidst all this, I missed my girlfriend so badly...I was desperate to meet her, so when I got to know that I am getting two weeks off from my office, I planned to surprise her, I booked tickets to go meet her. she lives in my hometown, New York and I live in Australia...I took off for New York, went to my house(my parents knew about my girlfriend..since the very beginning and they loved her-they are progressive this way..in fact, they wanted me to get married to her soon)

The next morning I went to my girlfriend's house(which was the first time for me)...I took flowers and chocolates for her because she was mad at me for ignoring her calls for the last three days(I did it deliberately though)...I reached her door and rang the bell..and there she was, as radiant as ever..she was at a loss of words..she was so surprised, yet so so happy...I could see her eyes shining...there she was, the love of my life! Just at that moment, I decided that I want to spend the rest of my life with her. I couldn’t stay away from her anymore.

The minute I entered her house, I realized that my girlfriend's family was huge. I mean there were her parents, grandparents, her uncle, aunt, and cousins..all living together in one house. I knew that her family was huge as she told me several stories about them...I was so happy to see such a close-knitted, loving family. So, everyone met me with a warm, loving smile and open arms..apparently, everyone knew my name and they had a hunch that we were dating(my girlfriend was scared to admit that she was dating).

So, they invited me in for dinner and we all sat at the dinner table and had some amazing food..meanwhile the family was interrogating me as if I was some criminal..but I was to answer and address all their questions as they were sweet and harmless..so, after the dessert, I took the parents aside and asked for their blessings to marry their daughter, which they willingly gave..then, I asked everyone to just listen..just then, I went on one knee and proposed my girlfriend for marriage..she had tears in her eyes and she hugged me and said yes!

Then, I called my parents to my fiance’s home and decided on a date for the wedding..but the problem was that I wouldn’t get leave for 6 months now..so my girlfriend came up with a wild idea..of getting married that week itself. Everyone loved the idea..but they were worried about the arrangements being done..but she shunned them all because she never wanted a big wedding..she said that she wanted to get married in the city hall..and the money she had collected for her wedding fund, would go towards a crowdfunding program called charity stars.

Is charitystars legit?” I asked..to which she showed me its reviews and website..so everyone came on board with this idea. It was poetic, romantic and so beautiful.

So, we all arranged our outfits, booked the city hall and notified close family and friends within two days..everything was perfect and I got to marry the love of my life! What an incredible week it was! Just then, she surprised me that she had already arranged to transfer her job to Australia which meant we didn't have to do the long-distance thing. Truly speaking, I married the best woman in the world!
