The Characteristics of an Entrepreneur

"ENTREPRENEUR" has several different meaning, but in general it means "doer". Entrepreneur is a very special breed of person. An entrepreneur is a person who designs, organizes and successfully runs his/her own business. Other examples of successful entrepreneurs are: Online entrepreneurs: Online entrepreneurs are the type of people who make money on the Internet. This can include doing online businesses, such as selling products and services, auctioning websites and writing and selling books.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP vs. entrepreneurship When you're trying to define what an entrepreneur or venture capitalist is, you have to be clear that they are the people who will fund and help the innovators of new businesses. In contrast, an ENTREPRENEUR generally looks at businesses as sources of income. These innovators don't need outside funding because they've already created the companies or ideas. The primary difference between an entrepreneur is that the entrepreneur would seek more immediate returns for their companies, while the ENTREPRENEUR looks at an idea over the long term.

Three Characteristics Of An Entrepreneur

ENTREPRENEURship traits include: adaptability, determination, creativity and intelligence. These traits make the ENTREPRENEUR a flexible and creative entrepreneur, able to change their mind quickly and successfully adapt to the circumstances that face them. However, it's also important to note that many successful entrepreneurs have also been extremely rigid in certain areas. For example, it may be very difficult for a small business owner with very little start-up capital to adapt to changing consumer preferences. Similarly, when faced with the problem of starting up and operating a website, the ENTREPRENEUR may not have the appropriate business savvy or adaptability to take the project on.

Entrepreneurs also differ in their ability to "think on their feet," which is essential in the world of modern entrepreneurship. The ability to think on one's feet (or "innovation thinking") is crucial to a successful entrepreneur. The key features of the ENTREPRENEUR personality are: innovation, determination, creativity and adaptability. Additionally, most small businesses require large amounts of capital and funding; therefore, it is likely that an entrepreneur will develop several entrepreneurial skills during their lifetime.

The characteristics of an ENTREPRENEUR should not be confused with being an innovator. The characteristics of an entrepreneur are more toward being skilled in dealing with problems and being highly creative. Entrepreneurs take risks and are constantly seeking new ideas and ways of doing things. They have a strong sense of self-worth and have high moral standards. Entrepreneurs love challenges and enjoy getting out there and seeing what new ideas can be done. Finally, they are constantly looking to expand and improve upon themselves, and thus are forever looking for new opportunities.

It is important that entrepreneurs have a good money management system in place. By having sound money management, the ENTREPRENEUR can plan his or her ventures adequately. In addition, a sound money management system will allow the entrepreneur to make sound financial decisions. A sound money management system will allow the ENTREPRENEUR to pick good opportunities, plan for them correctly, then execute them effectively.
