The University of Dhaka (UD) was established under the government. Law of India. XVIII of 1920 was a single, teaching and residential university with a constitution similar to that of a contemporary English university. UD is the first university in Bangladesh; Started July 1, 1921, with 192 students and three faculties. At the time of MBBS admission at the University of Dhaka, medical practitioners worldwide must submit all required documents (original + xerox copies):
1. Applicants must submit a duly completed application at the office at the University of Dhaka.
2. Candidates are required to submit a certificate of competency.
3. SSC & HSC score lists should be submitted at the time of MBBS admission.
4. Students must submit a birth certificate for admission to the MBBS course.
5. Need Report Card & Permit Card must be submitted.
6. Applicants should submit a transfer certificate/exit certificate from a previous school or institution.
7. Applicants must submit a Certificate of Migration.

9. A passport valid at the time of admission is required.

12. After paying the first-year MBBS tuition fee, the applicants should bring the receipt of payment of the tuition fee from the bank.
13. Medical eligibility certificate must be submitted along with HIV reports at the time of MBBS admission.
14. Every candidate has to go for a Govt-19 screening test before MBBS admission to Dhaka University.
