SC Upholds Amendment in Regulation 101 of Intermediate Education Act Providing Outsourcing For Class IV Post in Schools

On Monday, the Supreme Court, while setting aside the Judgment of Division Bench of Allahabad High Court, upheld the amendment made in Regulation 101 of the UP Intermediate Education Act, 1921, providing that Class IV Employees in schools will be employed through Outsourcing only.

The Supreme Court further ruled that an institution’s right to get government aid is not a fundamental right and it wouldn’t matter if it is run by a minority or majority committee as both have to equally follow the conditions and rules of the aid.
