There that will receive this pretty nicely and it should be just about flush with the actual engine case checking the condition of the o-ring on this cap it actually looks really good so reinserting all right and again with my wrist oh yeah that's about 17 foot-pounds okay go to the other side and do the same air filter cleaner thing this all right so i'm going to bring you in a little bit closer see if you guys can hear and see the detent action that i was talking about oh that one wasn't as loud but you could definitely feel it positively click in there uh all right so one thing i noticed was this o-ring is actually a little chewed up on this one of course brand new but i am going to swap that out so be right back all right y'all i'm back just put a new o-ring on this so get this buttoned-up right quick and fill her with oil now a little back story this bike it's not my bike buddy of mine picked.Modified Air Filter It up and he wanted me to ride it around break it in and kind of tune it because i've been doing a bunch of research and uh thumper talk has been quite informative good group of guys that own this ssr sr300s and so what i've done to it so far is i put 2016 crf 250r radiator shrouds on so i could get some graphics through rocky mountain atomic 17 foot pounds now there was also a bog right when you cracked the throttle so i guess this thing was really lean from the factory so put in a 170 main jet on the carburetor and it cleaned it up a little bit um i think i'm going to go up to probably a 172 still seems to be running a little lean spark plugs a little light in color as well but anyways here we go back to the earl.AIR & FUEL FILTER UPGRADEAll right okay got everything buttoned up now it's time to put oil in it now i've read in the manual yes you could actually find a manual for this thing online and um as far as oil goes uh they actually specify not to put synthetic in it so i'm just going with regular dyno oil uh 1040 and um we'll fire up after that but uh the good thing about this is the other side actually has a nice little sight glass right there so you can see how much oil to put in there's the fill and as you can see there's all the oil down there and again after two and a half hours uh pretty clean stuff pretty pleasantly surprised so anywho i'm gonna get to fill it up here we go all right got some 1040 oil in there and i went pretty much in the middle of the sight glass i know it's leaning over on its left side and it's probably going to be a little bit high right now but once it goes through the air filter cleaner and everything it's probably going to settle out so what i'm going to end up doing is firing it up letting it run for a minute or two and then put it on the center stand
