Dosage in adults
If you are at the early stage of your insomnia, take the lowest dose possible. The initial dosage for women is recommended ambien 5mg and for men, get ambien10 mg once at night. If this dosage is not practical, you can increase the dosage after the doctor's recommendation. In some patients, a 10 mg dose gives dizziness in the morning, so the medicine dosage depends on your condition and how your body reacts to that medicine.
Dosage for elderly people
Elderly patients are susceptible, so their dosage should not be more than 5mg once at bedtime. This medicine is highly restricted for children. No researches claimed the safety of this drug on children.
