 1985 Chevy Impala

First of all, the car has a V6 engine. The car was discontinued after the model's first generation and would return only for one year. The fourth generation of the Impala would come with an all-new V6 engine, but the basic design remained the same. It featured a new grille that featured a gold bowtie emblem, and a new front end. The 2004 version had sport wheels and a more aggressive suspension.

The 1976 model incorporated the SS nose. The car had an updated hood and a new "egg-crate" grille insert. The headlamps were round rather than quad, and there was a lowered "S" model with fewer features. The car was offered as a 4-door sedan and a station wagon. The Impala was the first car to replace the Bel Air in the United States. The Bel Air continued to be manufactured in Canada until 1981.

The first Chevy Impala was introduced more than 60 years ago, and since then, it has remained popular despite numerous attempts to kill it off. It was even discontinued on several occasions, but thankfully Chevy has revived the name and model and is continuing to sell them today. The car is still an impressive performer in the mid-sized sedan segment, and it has been a consistent top-seller ever since.

In 1985 Chevy Impala was again offered as a police vehicle. The 9C1 and 9C3 models were based on the LS model and featured steel wheels with wheel covers. Other changes included optional rubber flooring, inoperable rear door handles, and preparation for a criminal cage. These models also had a manual transmission. In addition, the impala became the first car to be produced with a front-wheel-drive platform.
