5 best Contemporary Indian Arts and their Artist by KYNKYNY
Since Childhood, I’ve been attracted towards arts especially contemporary Indian arts. To see something which is unique and has a blend of fusions, always print their colours on our subconscious mind somehow, that’s the power of unique and original arts. An Indian artist expresses his/her true feelings, thought process, and way of looking the world through their arts. That’s why we always consider art as pure or holy.
Contemporary Indian art is a fusion of tradition and no-traditional Indian themes. This art is never ending art, it is replenishing every single minute. Through this art, Indian artists show their courage, and enthusiasm to accept new changes and ideas.
Exploration is a part of living being. Thus, contemporary Indian artists never scare of exploring more techniques and textures in their paintings. Through this art, an artist can keep the traditional base in-tact and welcome the new or non-traditional ideas in it. They keep the historic story and legacy as it is and mix some colors to put a dimensional way to express it.
There are many Indian artists who are well know in contemporary Indian art world, but personally I love 5 contemporary Indian arts, which are:
1. Painting of Banaras Ghat by Amit Bhar: This painting shows the beauty of Ganga river near Banaras ghat and it beautifully expressed by Amit Bhar (one of the best Contemporary Indian artists). 2. Tree of life by Bhaskar Rao Botcha: Bhaskar Rao Botcha is Hyderabad based Indian artists, who is inspired by nature. Most of his paintings are based on trees, landscape, water, skies and many more. Tree of Life is one of them. Generally color of trees are brown, green, yellow, and orange etc, but Bhaskar Rao has used non-traditional theme by creating a leaf of bluish in color. 3. Gossip from Basuki Dasgupta: Whenever I see the art created by Basuki Dasgupta, It mesmerised me. Not only colors, but even the concepts are so minutely explained by her through story that you will find yourself looking at her paintings again and again. Basuki Dasgupta, a contemporary Indian artist is truly a story teller for me. 4. Timeless Passage by Avijit Dutta: Sometimes an art expresses the curiosity of an artist. That’s the only sentence I can come up when I see Timeless Passage by Avijit Dutta. I feel he visualise the thing so beautifully and blessed to put it on canvas to express himself. 5. Krishna by G. Subramanian: Who doesn’t know lord Krishna? A naughty but a deep understanding figure, who controls the life of all beings. In a similar way, G.
