After each use, do look out for all large and loose food pieces and remove them from the high chair accordingly. Next, wipe down the high chair with a damp cloth using only water.
Make sure you properly clean the seats, cushion, tray underneath, sides of the high chair and the buttons to prevent food particle build-up.
Surface Hygiene
It is important that you maintain a clean surface environment for your little one. Here are 2 methods :
1. Home prepared cleaning solution
Prepare a spray bottle with either white vinegar or hydrogen peroxide solution. Spray on surface to sanitize and allow the cleaning solution to do its job for 5 minutes.
After which, please proceed to wipe the surface with a damp cloth.
2. Diluted Bleach Solution
Alternatively, you can prepare a diluted bleach solution (2 teaspoons of bleach to 1 gallon of water). Next, please proceed to clean all the surface of the high chair with the solution.
Allow it to air dry.
P.S. You can also use a disinfectant wipe for convenience.
Caution - Never mix vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, or bleach together as it can cause a dangerous chemical reaction !
