Search for posts based on a specific geographical location
Instagram users are able to search for posts based on geographical location. This way you can see the posts posted in places close to where you are. This feature is a good option for when you are traveling and looking for places of entertainment and services close to your place.
Search for posts by location:
You can search for a specific location or check the Geotag feature on Instagram posts.
To search for posts based on a specific location, you have to click on the magnifying glass icon located at the bottom of the page, this icon opens the search menu on Instagram. In this step, after selecting the place to enter search terms, four tabs will appear.
In this step, select the Places option and type the name of the desired location. Selecting the Search option then displays a list of recently published posts that are close to your geographical location.
Search for posts based on a specific Geotag:
To do this, go to the photos marked with Geotag and select the Geotag option. This option displays all recent posts with Geotag.
Search for posts by location:
Repeat the same procedure as above to reach the Places section, then enter the search location and select the Near Current Location option.
In this step, Geatags are displayed, by selecting which you can search for posts by location.
