Sawgrass Pediatrics has made significant improvements to our practices to better meet the needs and safety of the children and families we serve, as well as our employees and physicians. As a critical service, it is critical that we are available to your family today more than ever. Our top goals are your child's safety and well-being. 

We recognize that there is a great deal of concern about this virus. Children, on the other hand, have had fewer serious infections. Every winter, children are exposed to a variety of various coronaviruses, which is thought to be one of the reasons why the infection is milder in children. They may, however, expose those who are more vulnerable to more severe results.

Remote Check-In/Parking Lot Waiting Room — In order to promote healthy social distance requirements, we ask that parents phone the Coral Springs office at 954-752-9220 or the Boca Raton office at 561-487-9912. It is recommended that all patients and caregivers wait in the car or outside until your visit begins. If you are unable to do so, our staff will accompany you back into an exam room (please be patient and remain in the exam room and not wander in the hallways)  

Separate exam rooms for well and sick patients, as well as morning well visits – We, have adjusted our schedule to reduce patient traffic to maximize safety, in addition to having distinct Well and Child Vaccines in Coral Springs. Our mornings will now be reserved for well-visits only, while our afternoons will be reserved for sick visits. Exceptions will be made only on a case-by-case basis. There are no walk-in appointments to prevent the danger of illness from spreading. You must phone us at 954-752-9220 to talk with a triage nurse so that we can provide you with the greatest level of care possible.
