Tips To Apply Beach Decals for Car Windows

Make use of masking tape.

Masking tape can help you position your Beach decals for car windows, sticker precisely where you want them. Position the sticker where you want it, keeping the white backing paper in position and facing the object you're attaching it to. Place a strip of masking tape over the top edge of the sticker to keep it in place. Then, lifting the sticker as if it were on a hinge, pull off the underlying paper. Slowly drop the sticker while holding onto the bottom border, by using the thumb of your other hand to press from the center out and progressively working your way through top to bottom.

Use the Wet Method

Smaller Beach decals for car windows may be applied without needing water, but for large and extremely large stickers, this approach is a lifesaver. After washing the surface, re-wet it with a spray bottle and a 5 percent soap/95 percent water solution. While the area is still moist, apply the sticker. This will prevent it from attaching right away and give you time to adjust it if required. You may also use a squeegee or a plastic card to eliminate any bubbles. The soapy water will dry in a few minutes, leaving your sticker securely attached.

Take Care of the Transfer Tape

Many of our stickers are three layers thick: 1) transfer tape, the transparent top layer that adheres to the sticker's non-adhesive side and holds the sticker together; 2) the sticker, the middle layer; and 3) backing paper, the bottom layer of white paper that adheres to the sticker's sticky side.

Before putting these types of stickers, ensure sure the sticker and transfer tape are tightly pushed together. To do so, use a squeegee or a plastic card to apply uniform pressure across the transfer tape. This will prevent the sticker from coming into contact with the backing paper during placement.
