What should you do for Keep Greenhouse Soil Aerated?

Aeration of the soil is necessary for root activity and plant growth. Keep your soils light and airy, and avoid overwatering! Plants should regard oxygen to be a primary nutrient. I've been in greenhouses where the plants are wilting in the middle of the day and the soils are too damp! The roots are unable to take in the oxygen required to lift the water! Wilting plants do not produce and are more susceptible to disease.

It's a good idea to invest in a good soil moisture monitoring device so that you can maintain the Greenhouse soil oxygen/water ratio for plant growth and soil activity. Avoid irrigating late in the day to avoid sending your plants into the night with wet feet. This promotes the spread of diseases.
