TOPIC: TEN PRICES A PREACHER MUST PAY FOR AN OUTSTANDING MINISTRY
TEXT: REVELATION 5:11
INTRODUCTION
We serve a God of multitude. Every Star in the sky is five hundred times bigger than the sun, the sun is bigger than the earth 5times yet Jesus hold 5stars in his hands.The angels on the throne of God are in zillions and they are the ones that administer his throne, you can't be serving this God and be small.
1. We are in the growth era of the church. Micah 4:1.
We are in the multitude era of the church and the church is going to dominate the earth like never before. The future is for the humble. The depth of God are for the meek. If you must grow, you must be humble, humble enough to listen to the people you are bigger than. No pastor grows that is proud. Growth is not possible until somebody is humble.
2. Have a vision for your ministry.
You can't experience growth without a vision for growth. Your eyes must see it for God to give it. You must be illuminated. Visions are of the deep, men cannot access vision, until the traffic in the deep. You must traffic in the word of God, in other to access vision. Everything about church growth strives with vision. Every vision is a work and requires effort. God's word works but only works for them that work it out. Vision is the beginning of pursuit. We need patience of faith to move into the fullness of our vision. Every vision has ways on how it should be carried out. Until it is pictured, it cannot be actualized. Vision is not just a work but a run. The proof that you have vision is in your running, yours work, the patience of faith and maintaining the fire on your altar.
3. Structure.
Any ministry without structure has no future. A pastor is not an overseer over money but over the people. When structure is weak, the capacity for growth is lacking. broken focus is a sign of weak structure.
What is spiritual structure?
1.There is no ministry without a message from the lord.
2. The fear of the lord.
The fear of the lord is very crucial in church growth.( 2 Corinthians 3:6. If you as a pastor must grow a church, your message must carry a spirit. Jonah 3:2. Every message must come from the womb of the spirit. Every man of God is given a word to say. To grow a church, spiritual structure is required.
4. Personal growth.
5. You must be genuine and real.
6. Get ready to work. ( Proverbs 12:24
7. Share your vision. ( Acts 26:18-19
8. Share the ministry.
9. Stay long around.
10. Become a leader not only a shepherd.
