Get. Set. Clean!

Cleansing an Intex pool is similar to cleaning any other pool in that we vacuum the floor, clean the walls, and skim the surface, albeit not in that order. In this comprehensive guide, we’ll walk it step-by-step.

  • Step 1- Skim the Pool Surface lightly. Because many Intex pools lack a skimmer, it's a good idea to remove trash floating on the surface before it settles. Consider leaf net covers for pools that are still open in the fall. Leaf rakes have large bags and a beveled front edge for scooping stuff, large and small, from the pool floor. Take a leaf rake, and a standard 8’- 15’ telescopic pool pole and get started.

  • Step 2- Brush up the floor- Soft-sided pools, such as those made by Intex, are made of vinyl, which, when the conditions are correct, can develop a thin bio-film bacteria on the surface. You can prevent algae and germs from growing into your precious pool space with the help of a nylon brush. A decent pool brush also helps to distribute chemicals and avoid stains on your pool liner caused by dirt deposits in folds and creases.

  • Step 3- Vacuum the floor and sides. The removal of dirt, dust, and debris from the pool floor is more difficult since it requires the use of hoses, suction, and some skill. There are five different ways to clean an Intex pool's floor.

Guidelines to an Efficient Cleaning of your Intex Pool

Cleansing the walls and floor of an Intex pool with the necessary tools and procedures will help you save time, guarantee that you're doing it correctly, and get your family back to splashing.

1. Assemble your pool wall brush and telescoping shaft. Or an already prepared Intext Pool vacuum and pool skimmer.

2. Scrub the pool's walls and floor using a brush, applying little pressure to remove any algae, filth, dirt, or debris that may be adhered to the surface.

3. Adjust the length of the telescopic shaft by turning the handles clockwise, then counter-clockwise to lock each piece in place.

4. Attach the hose mount to the shaft using the provided screws.

5. Align the plastic spring inside the cleaning tip with the holes in the telescoping shaft that have already been pre-drilled.

Try squeezing the spring tips gently to position the shaft onto the cleaning head, with the springs springing into the pre-drilled apertures to lock the parts in place.

6. Attach the included debris collection bag to the cleaning head using a bungee cord. The bag should be positioned directly across from the garden hose connection.

7. Attach the garden hose to the vacuum's cleaning head's hose attachment by tightening it.

8. Using the included hose mount, secure the hose in place.

9. Ensure your garden hose is connected to the spigot. Turn on the water and start the vaccuming. With light sweeping strokes along the floor and interior surfaces.

10. Stop the water supply and get rid of the debris from the bag.

Conclusion

Intex pool 12 X 30 screams a fun and frolic pool time with your loved ones. When you know the right method of thoroughly cleaning your pool space, you ensure that your lovely time stays healthier and more rejuvenating in the future as well.
