There appeared to be some sense of justice may be for Bellone and France after what happened to him towards the end of extra time. 3-2 to the France Football World Cup team from three penalties each.
Branco was next for Brazil. By now the referee was becoming worried about the condition of the penalty mark. He required Branco to re-spot the ball, so there was a slight stay.
