Methods to fix the issue

The user can try performing the below set of measures to successfully get rid of the backup up failed issue in QuickBooks.


Method 1: Clear the Internet Explorer cache, cookies, temporary files, and SSL state

1.                  The first step is to open Internet Explorer.

2.                  After that head to the Tools menu, then choose Internet Options.

3.                  Note: If you can’t find Tools on your browser, press Alt once to show hidden tabs.

4.                  Go to the General tab, and thenselect Delete... under the Browsing History section.

5.                  Select the following checkboxes: Temporary Internet files and website files, Cookies and website data, History, Form Data, and InPrivate Filtering, then uncheck the Preserve Favorites and website data checkbox.

6.                  Select Delete to clear the items.

7.                  Go to the Content tab.

8.                  Select Clear SSL state, and then select OK.


Method 2: Add Trusted Sites

1.                  The very first step is to open Internet Explorer.

2.                  Now, head to the Tools menu, then select Internet Options.

3.                  After that move to the Security tab, then uncheck the Enable Protected Mode checkbox.

4.                  The user should then choose Trusted sites and then Sites.

5.                  Also, uncheck the Require server verification ( https: ) for all sites in this zone checkbox.

6.                  The next step is to add *.backup.com, *.intuit.com, and *.intuit.net. Select Close.

7.                  The user should now head to the Privacy tab, and then select Sites.

8.                  In the Address of Website box, add the following websites: *.quickbooks.com and *.intuit.com.

9.                  After that select Allow each time you add the web addresses.

10.              And choose OK.
