There's no doubt that contact lenses are medical devices that can only be recommended with a valid prescription by an expert eye specialist. They must be intended with the same caution as prescribed drugs, necessitating prescription expiration dates and frequent follow-up visits with the eye doctor once a year for contact lens evaluation. 

A report says that "about 45 million people in the United States prefer to use the contact lens to rectify their visual issues."

The nurses, who wear lenses, are supposed to keep the eyes in top shape takes some dedicated effort.

Contact lens users know how many advantages the lenses grant, as it’s easy to dismiss some of the fundamental health guidelines around such a convenient alternative to glasses.

Updating the Contact Lenses

Probably around 70% of the population that needs vision correction wears contact lenses (noted there).

Overall, contact lenses add value in a less prominent way than traditional stereotyped eyeglasses, and several contact lens wearers find it even much convenient for their lifestyles.
