7 Bridges was founded by Pastor 7. God visited 7 when he was in seclusion and assured him that He would never abandon him. 7 gave his life to God instantly, but he had no idea who this God was. He set out on a mission to discover the truth, researching every religion he could.
Given a Bible, despite not knowing how to read or write, God immediately began teaching him. He learned about Christ and experienced His love, which changed him. God came down and permanently changed his heart despite the absence of a preacher, an evangelist, any book, or any church-related upbringing.
About 7 Bridges to Recovery:
A non-profit 501c3 group called 7 Bridges to Recovery reaches out to the broken and lost in Atlanta and elsewhere. We provide housing, food, and support for Veterans, Men, Women, and Children as they rebuild their lives in Christ.
Based on Isaiah 58:6-8, our mission is to spread the love of Christ, one person at a time, to abolish homelessness in Atlanta, Georgia, the United States, and ultimately the world. We are Jesus' rescue squad.
We believe it is one step only, and that's Jesus.
Pastor 7 was given the seven scriptures below to help lead and guide us to a deeper relationship with Christ and receive the Spiritual Recovery we all need.
What we do:
Church service
Church services are at 10:30 am on Sunday mornings at the Garden. All are welcome to come and worship with us!
Men's Discipleship
About 25 men saved from addiction, homelessness, or brokenness are now enrolled in our program. The course, which lasts for an entire year and is free, instructs the men in organization, discipline, service, and leadership.
Women and Children
About 60 women and 40 kids rescued from broken homes or other situations now reside in The Garden. It serves as God's hospital, where people can get well. We do not charge rent for our residents to stay with us for however long they need to.
