Animated Movies And Technology - What Is The World Coming To?

Will we one day play in the cinema ourselves?

Not in an actor or actress sense, but in the sense that if we look back to the past and then the technological advances of CGI animated films, there's really only one direction it can go.

Given the advances in computer technology in today's animated film industry, and given that there were no computers at all in 1892 when the first proposed animated film was publicly shown, we also compared the first animation of Charles Emile Reynaud's "Pauvre Pierrot" to some of the new animated films like Disney's "Toy Story 3" or Dreamworks Animation's new "Megamind", then everything seems to be possible.

A lot has been achieved in the last 118 years and it doesn't seem like it's slowing down. To think that the animation was a 2D visual sensation, to begin with, and that's about it. You've seen flat images on a screen scroll rapidly to create the effects of moving objects, and that's about it. Find out here to know more here about this article.

But today it's a different technology, it's a new era of High Definition, iMac Wrap Around, 3D Stereoscopic Glasses with a 7.1 Quad Channel Surround Sound System, and Blue Ray Digital Experience.

Now I ask you: Where is the world going?

With technologically advanced animated films today going into 3D (which is the equivalent of having the best possible graphics on your screen that look like they're coming out of the screen), there's only one possible way for the film industry to go if it's around to keep advancing in technology, and that's holographic.

Years ago, the Star Trek series holodeck was just science fiction, but as technology advances, there's no telling what the future will bring. It may be that one-day televisions will be replaced by some type of projector that mounts in your ceiling like a light fixture.

The projector can then project the film (or game) around you, in whatever room you mounted it. If you then consider how far AI has progressed in games and computer programs, it is quite possible that in the future you will not only watch a film but actively play a role in it, which may lead to the film's outcome depending on Your choices will be different, much like how some computer games work now.

Seeing how great a lot of these new movies are now, it might be a lot of fun to be in the animated movies in the future, but if we're going in that direction to have a role in these new movies of tomorrow, I think for now I will stop watching so many horror movies.
