Definitions of Different Waters

Do you want to know why it's preferable to drink filtered water?

Tap water:

Water that has undergone only the most fundamental filtration processes, such as flocculation (adding chemicals to the water to cause particles to coagulate and float so that they can be removed), sand filtration (removing larger debris), and chlorination (adding chlorine to the water to kill bacteria and microorganisms).

Most people think that spring water and filtered water are the same things. Yet, the same contaminants may be discovered in spring water as in wells or tap water. The rivers that supply our cities all begin as springs, so it seems sense that spring water would be present in the water we use daily. Regarding TDS, spring water and municipal tap water are essentially equivalent.

Distilled water

is purified by removing minerals and other impurities from regular tap water via boiling. One common kind of contamination is inorganic minerals or metals. In contrast to water, which boils at 212 degrees Fahrenheit, these contaminants have a substantially higher boiling point. Hence, the resulting steam is collected and condensed to produce distilled water.

Filtered water:

Water that has been filtered is the kind of water most often sold in supermarkets. Most of the time, it begins as municipal tap water filtered using carbon filters to eliminate chlorine (for a better flavour) and occasionally with a micron filter. The last step is to ozonate and bottle the water once it has been filtered. In many respects, water that has been filtered is equivalent to spring water. It's bottled and distributed to stores after being extracted from a "natural" source and undergoing minimum filtering. Alwaslwater is the best option for filtered water.

Purified Water:

What sets purified water apart from the competition is not its source but rather the rigorousness of its purification processes. Purified water undergoes a procedure similar to filtered water but with additional processes such as distillation, deionization, or reverse osmosis. The final product is far cleaner than filtered, spring, or tap water.
