Tulip Garden, also known as the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, is a popular tourist destination in Srinagar, Kashmir. It is the largest tulip garden in Asia, spread over an area of about 30 hectares. The garden is located in the foothills of the Zabarwan range, overlooking the Dal Lake. Every year, during the spring season, the garden blooms with over 1.5 million tulip bulbs in various colors.


The garden was first opened to the public in 2007, and since then it has become a major attraction for tourists from all over the world. It was named after the former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi, who was fond of flowers and gardening.


The best time to visit the tulip garden is during the months of March and April, when the tulips are in full bloom. The garden is open to visitors from 9 am to 7 pm, and the entry fee is Rs. 59 for adults and Rs. 25 for children.

Apart from tulips, the garden also has a variety of other flowers, including hyacinths, daffodils, ranunculus, and irises. The garden is divided into different sections, each with a unique layout and design.
