It follows a systematized approach known as DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) to detect, identify, and eliminate the root cause of the Quality related issues. Its primary goal is to ensure product quality by minimizing variations and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.

 

3.     Lean Manufacturing- This type of Quality Management System focuses prominently on reducing waste and improving efficiency in the manufacturing processes. Its principles work on identifying and eliminating non-value adding activities, optimizing inventory levels, improving productivity, and ultimately maximizing customer satisfaction.



4.     Total Quality Management (TQM)- Total Quality Management (TQM) is an ongoing process that strives to maintain a defect-free and error-free supply chain. TQM involves the participation of all employees in continuous improvement efforts, customer focus, and the application of quality tools and techniques.

It emphasizes the importance of process improvement, prevention of defects, and meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
