Men And Misogyny: Can Love Change That?

Misogyny is a character trait that is endemic among men. It’s a superficial mindset deeply rooted in society, where men consider women to be of less worth and social status. But what if these insensitive and uptight men who constantly look down upon their opposite gender fall in love with them?

Just like Corbin did when he met Zaya at his sister’s destination wedding, although he always hated Zaya for her unapologetic and outspoken personality, he couldn’t help his feelings toward her. This is the plot of Leah Marie’s latest entry in her Billionaire romance collection, “My Bestie’s Billionaire Brother.” Despite the differences in their point of view, Zaya and Corbin are falling for each other, but is Zaya making the right choice? Corbin is arrogant; can he love an ambitious, strong-willed woman like her? His dating history says otherwise.

Do misogynistic men change for the better? Can there be an exception?

Let’s find out!

Can Misogynists Fall in Love?

They may court women with the intention of love but soon turn obsessive, opportunistic, and insensitive as the relationship matures. Misogynists are mostly narcissists and may think of women and love as per convenience. They can be challenging to love, given their demands and habit of blaming others for minor inconveniences.

But affection and love have this mysterious magic that can transform a man’s patriarchy into humility and love. Men also have a side that craves affection. They also break their harsh walls for their “someone special.” Once under the cupid’s spell, they try to avoid conflicts and misunderstandings with their partner.

Misogyny is a result of enforced conditioning and brought up. They are conditioned to think that it’s the woman’s fault. It might be complicated for them to profess their love and appreciate a woman as they come from backgrounds where patriarchy is deeply enrooted. In actuality, it is not a choice they made but a mindset fed to them, but that doesn’t give them the right to treat women harshly.

Men also deserve love, but it can be challenging to make it long-lasting in this state, as they are quick to jump to conclusions and build their narrative. Just like Corbin did, seeing Zaya and his sister becoming best friends, Corbin always looked at their friendship with disdain. He was not on board with having a confident, strong woman as his sister’s best friend, but Zaya never cared about him.

She always dismissed his egotistical manners and patriarchal views as insignificant. But after a tumultuous plane ride with Corbin and unexpected interactions during Chloe’s destinations, Zaya’s mind was saying otherwise. The sparks between these two mortal enemies were evident, and the more they tried to get away from each other, the closer fate brought them together.

Will this burning passion have a happy ending? Or will it leave Zaya heartbroken? Find out in Leah Marie’s new billionaire romance, “My Bestie’s Billionaire Brother,” now on Amazon.
