Honey Singh is an Indian Punjabis singer and rapper who was born on 15/03/1983 in Hoshiarposh, Punjab. He completed his schooling from Guram Nanak Public School in Delhi and then studied at Trinity School in the United Kingdom. After completing his studies, Honey decided to enter the music industry and released his first song, Begani Nazar, in 2006. However, this song was not successful and he went on to work in many other songs. In 2011, he released Lak 28 Kudi Da, which became a huge success and launched his career. Following this, Honey Singh and Diljit dosanjh teamed up and collaborated on many songs, leading to Honey Singh becoming known as the “Bluetooth King” for the years 2011 to 2017.
Honey Singh’s most famous songs are “International Villagers”, “Breakup Party”, “Get Up Jawani,” “High Heels,” “Blue Eyes,” “Yaar Bhatere,” “Dope Shop,” and “Angreji Beat”. He collaborated with many singers such as Honey Singh and J Star, as well as Badshah and Alfaaz. His song “Chennai Express” (Lungi Dance) was a huge hit, and “BOSS” (Party All Night) was also a hit. He also released his own movie and movie title is “Zorawar”.
Honey Singh’s Desi hip hop (2015) song “Raftaar” was controversial due to the use of many dirty words in it, which Honey Singh did not respond to.
Family Background
Honey Singh was born in a middle-class family to a family of Sikhs. His father is called Sarabjit and his mother is called Bhupinder Kaur. His elder sister is called Sneha Singh and he has one elder sister named Sneha Singh in his family. He has sung many hits until 2018 when his health deteriorated and he was hospitalized for four years. In an interview, he said that he is now trying to re-enter the music industry and that he will release a 2016 version of his hit song “Honey Singh” to his fans. The controversy between Honey and Badshah started in 2014 when Badshah rapped a line in one of Honey’s songs, in which he said, “Kiti nahi comeback ho raha ho hai
