The Michigan Thanksgiving Parade now known as America’s Thanksgiving Parade presented by Gardner White was founded in 1924. For more than 75 years The Parade has been a one-of-a-kind spectacle of fantasy holiday spirit and community enthusiasm. This year marks the 97th edition of the parade. It has grown to include more than 75 parade units including floats balloons and marching bands in procession.

The Parade route is three miles of smiles along Woodward Avenue from Kirby to Congress!! The Parade steps-off at Kirby and Woodward at 8:45 a.m. It’s roughly an hour and a half march south, down to the Celebration Zone. The Parade officially ends at Congress and Woodward.

The first Thanksgiving Day Parade in the nation will be back on the Ben Franklin Parkway this year with the best balloons floats marching bands and special performances From Kimmel Cultural Campus Walnut Street Theatre and the Philadelphia Ballet.

Through the City of Philadelphia, beginning at 20th and JFK Boulevard, turning LEFT on 16th Street to the Ben Franklin Parkway. The parade turns left on the Parkway to the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Get set to be a part of the Annual celebrations at New Orleans. The Annual Bayou Classic Thanksgiving Parade is set to take place on Thursday 23rd November 2023 at 3 PM.

The Parade will showcase floats, marching bands, military units Alumni krewes motorized units and other elements of Louisiana’s African American culture, such as multiple elements from the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club, which is New Orleans’ oldest predominantly African American carnival krewe and community service organization whose distinguished list of former kings includes Louis Armstrong.
