CrepDog Crew recorded revenue of Rs 12 Cr in FY23

Sneaker reselling platform CrepDog Crew generated Rs 12.61 crore in revenue in the fiscal year ending March 2023. Operations contributed over Rs 12 crore to this, taking up over 98% of the overall revenue.


The Delhi-based e-commerce platform was established by Anchit Kapil and Shaurya Kumar. CDC is a is a sneaker reselling platform and streetwear aggregator.


The company’s product line includes air jordan, dunk, grails, streetwear, jewelry, accessories, watches et al. It also offers sneaker care products such as wipes, cleaning kits, shoe laundry bag, along with laundry services.


The five-year-old company has raised over Rs 4.8 crore in its first and only funding round. The maiden fundraise, held early last year, saw support from the likes of Rahul Kayan, Harminder Sahni, Masaba Gupta, Nikhil Mehra, Dharmil Seth, Siddharth Shah, Yogesh Shukla, and Ankit Solanki.


Post the round, founders of the company Anchit Kapil and Shaurya Kumar held equal shares of more than 30% each. The company is currently valued at Rs 49.86 crore.


Following the revenue generated, the e-commerce firm’s expenses amounted to Rs 12.37 crore last fiscal. While cost of materials lead the chart, spending over Rs 9.7 crore of the total expenses, a variety of other smaller expenses followed with more than Rs 1.7 crore. Employee benefits cost over Rs 84.4 lakhs in FY23.


The company incurred losses worth Rs 18.5 lakhs in the fiscal year ending March 2023. Its EBITDA margin and ROCE remained in positives of 1.93% and 4.87% respectively.
