What are the Guidelines to be Followed for the Triund Trek?

  • Please ensure you have valid photo identification to obtain the required permits for the Triund camping

  • The authorities reserve the right to modify the three-mile journey in case of emergencies, natural disasters, or adverse Triund Current Temperature conditions.

  • While the route passes through a verdant area, bonfires may be lit cautiously, depending on the Triund weather forecast 15 days prior.

  • It is strongly discouraged to contaminate the surrounding sites while camping in Triund, as travellers leaving behind trash risk fines.

  • Children should be at least 5 years old, and those below that age are not advised to partake in the trip due to the difficulty level of the Triund Trek.

  • Weather conditions can impact all sports activities, and the campground may need to be relocated to Dharamkot due to governmental restrictions or weather-related factors.

  • Packing minimally is recommended, as excessive belongings can lead to unnecessary trouble.

  • Wearing appropriate attire and footwear for the Triund Trek in Dharamshala is advisable.

  • Expectations of luxury should be tempered, even at any Triund Guest House, as it can be challenging to provide all conveniences in the Highlands, with varying levels of access to electricity among different locations.

From the panoramic views of snow-capped peaks to the serene ambience of the camping sites, every step of the journey is filled with wonder and discovery. So, heed the call of the mountains, pack your bags, and embark on the Triund Trek.
