THQ Nordic has acquired all projects, games, and franchises from Novalogic, including the well-regarded Delta Force series.
THQ Nordic, the company formerly known as Nordic Games, has announced the acquisition of all game-related IP from Novalogic, including the rights to the Delta Force games.
Nordic Games rescued the THQ brand from the scrap heap earlier this year when it announced it would change its name to THQ Nordic and would look to continued development of classic THQ franchises including Darksiders, Destroy All Humans!, Frontlines: Fuel of War, Titan Quest, and Red Faction, all of which it acquired from THQ during the company's bankruptcy.
Now, THQ Nordic has confirmed that it's resurrecting another company's classic games with the acquisition of game-related intellectual property from Novalogic.
'After 30 years of creating ground breaking computer and video games we are proud to pass the baton to THQ Nordic,' claimed Novalogic founder and chief executive John Garcia of the deal which effectively marks his company's exit from the gaming market.
