Taxiapptjänsten Lift is launching a partnership with Google's parent company Alphabets device Waymo to develop technology for self-driven cars.
"Waymo has today the best self-driven technology and by partnering with them as we accelerate our joint vision to improve the lives of the world's best transportation," said a spokesperson for the Lift.
According to the New York Times indicates the partnership to Waymo believe that the technology has matured beyond the research stage and is ready to be applied commercially.

Lift is the second-largest player in the so-called ridesharing in the united states after the Uber.
In april announced the Lifting that they brought in 600 million dollars in venture capital, which values the company at 6.9 billion dollars, or the equivalent of just over 60 billion.
