July tends to be one of the slowest months of the year for new video games — after all, there’s always a void following E3.
This month is no exception, but a few titles, across a range of platforms and genres, certainly piqued our interest.
The best new video games for July include a new digital CCG, a remake of an under-appreciated RPG, and the latest from the makers of Transistor and Bastion.
Joining the likes of Gwent, The Elder Scrolls: Legends, and Hearthstone, Fable Fortune is the latest Magic the Gathering style card game to enter the fray.
Mixing things up a bit, Fortune features arena-specific quests allow players to gain “good” and “evil” points throughout the game, which will alter their hero’s abilities.
The game also features a co-op mode for players to battle side-by-side against common foes.
