The future of the automotive industry is hard to predict. There are cars and car parts coming out right and left. Every automobile designer is trying to come out with their own specific vehicles bearing new and improved features. So year in and year out we see a battle led between the most prominent automotive companies which are trying to get ahead against each other. You often cannot see the clear winner and there are some models which can be dark horse in the race. Well whatever the case may be, whether it is a new an advanced model or a vehicle which surprises everyone and takes us all by the storm, we are glad to be living in a period like this one when such a high number of cars is being released.

But what about the future? What are the cars that we are going to be excited about tomorrow? There is a slew of vehicles which have been announced, a number of them rumored and whole bunch of them that people are hoping are made sometime in the future. From now till the year 2020 there is a number of vehicles that we have information about. Here is a list of some of the future cars that are going to be worth the wait as we predict them as some of the best vehicles that will improve the market.

2017 Bugatti Chiron

Bugatti has always been known for producing stellar vehicles. But the most legendary car that they managed to release was the Bugatti Veyron model which was seen back in 2005 for the first time. What makes this car so important is that it was the first car which passed the $1 million price tag. But it was well worth the money you payed for it as it had 1,001 horsepower which was made available through its W16 engine. The model was also able to reach a top speed of 253 mpg. Now the year is 2017 and Bugatti is getting ready to release the spiritual successor of the Veyron model, and that is the 2017 Bugatti Chiron. This vehicle is already scheduled for release and will come out by the end of the year. This newest model will surpass the Veyron in so many ways as the Chiron is being labeled with a power of 1,479 horsepower and the ability to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds. And all this for just a measly $2.66 million. 

2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

The automotive veterans remember the hype that the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 made when it was released in 2012. Since then it made all the headlines and broke all the records with its ability to speed in corners like no other car present on the market then. It also proved that American muscle cars have not disappeared and that the Camaro ZL1 is not a joke. But all of this lasted only until 2015, when the Camaro disappeared and left the pole position to its bitter rival, the Shelby GT350. But now the tables are turning and the ZL1 brand is making a comeback. The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is scheduled for its release by the end of the year and it promises us a very interesting battle among its long lasting competitor. This arch rivalry started back in the 60s and we are very enthusiastic on seeing it appear again in the 21^st century.

2017 Lincoln Continental

Ford has invested a total of $5 billion it its Lincoln brand. This is a clear sign that they want to be back in the luxury vehicles business. Since they have been stagnant in recent years and have left everything to the competition, there is a need for them to remodel their cars so they become relevant again. They are planning to start everything with a marquee and a familiar brand which comes in the form of the 2017 Lincoln Continental. The vehicle is being remodeled and updated in a great fashion. Both the exterior and the interior is going to be remolded in a highly luxurious way. The results will be seen by the end of 2017 when this car makes its official appearance and when the release date is scheduled. Our predictions are that this vehicle is destined to make a big splash and could be one of the break out vehicles of the year.

2018 Ford Bronco and Ford Ranger

Well we might be cheating here and giving you two cars, but you can agree that when the models share platforms it does not count as cheating so much. All in all, the returning Ford Bronco and Ranger models have been out of the US market for quite a long time. With the Bronco discontinued, the Ranger managed to find success in the international market. But people in America have bene yearning for a comeback. With the Troller T4, release exclusively in South Africa, Ford has showed that they still do have what it’s needed to top the segment. And they are going to show us with these comeback vehicles. Both of them are set to be released by middle 2018 and both of them are meant to give more fate to this perhaps dying breed of cars.

2018 Chevrolet Trailblazer

The market in Southeast Asia is huge now. There is a number of GM nameplates that have found success there and are selling by the millions. One of them is Chevrolet which has managed to outsell the competition every time. The Trailblazer is one such model which has been discontinued in American back in 2000. But it was revised in 2012 and found new life in this new market. And boy did it do well as the Chevrolet Trailblazer found great success and is one of the most popular SUVs in this part of the world. After the unveiling of the concept model in 2016. We are expecting the production version to be released in 2018. The new Chevrolet Trailblazer 2018 is going to sport the company’s new design language and also make a couple of new fancy improvements. This vehicle may be one of the most successful models outside of the USA and we are certainly ready to place our money on this one.

2018 Tesla Model 3

Once the 2018 Tesla Model 3 was announced, the interest for it skyrocketed. Tesla immediately came out with a statement that their plan is to sell 500,000 of their Model 3 cars by 2018. For now they 373,000 ones already deposited and ordered. Since we are getting nearer to the release date of the 22018 Model 3, which is set to appear by mid-2018, their idea sounds very realistic. Also when you understand that the newest model is going to be priced above $35K and that its newest range is going over 200 miles on a charge. You completely understand where all of the interest is coming from. Some other additions also include a standard Autopilot system for every model and top notch safety system which has a five-star rating. Who would not want to have this car?

2018 Audi electric SV

With Tesla already having a lot of success with their Model X and Model S vehicles, there is a slew of rivals that are going to come out in 2018. Porsche has decided to take on the Model S, while Audi has its own idea with the electric SV vehicles which will directly rival the Model X version. The vehicle is going to be based on a familiar concept, namely last year’s e-tron quattro concept. It is going to be able to seat four people and have the ability to speed up to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds time and all that with a range of 310 miles. Audi has a lot of great ideas with this car and we are hoping that they all come to fruition fast.

2018 Jeep Wrangler

The announcement of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler has made a lot of true fans nervous. The legendary model has been rumored to be getting a very modern new update which sees it add a lot of features that hard core fans are not too thrilled of having. These include an all-aluminum body, a unibody and also replacing the solid axles. But luckily, all of these rumors are not true. The expected changes which the 2018 version of the Jeep Wrangler is making include the addition of aluminum body panels a turbocharged four-cylinder engine used as a base option, while the exterior is going to be more wind resistant and will cut the corners easily. This brings us closer to the idea of the Wrangler becoming a more fuel efficient model while at the same time regaining its legendary off-raoding abilities.

2019 Mazda RX

Probably one of the most expected cars of the 2019 model year is the 2019 Mazda RX. This vehicle is supposed to continue the company’s famed RX lineup and an update which is being added will drive the brand in the right direction. If it looks as half as good as RX-Vision concept which was showcased last year at the Tokyo Auto Show in Japan then we are in for a great new car. One of the most important news about this car is its completely new rotary-powered engine which will help this grand tourer reach the potential it needs. The release date is not confirmed yet and we are hoping that it gets to be released by the end of 2019.

2020 Porsche EV

We already mentioned the prospect of the Porsche EV and its plan to overtake the position of the Tesla S model. But will this become a reality, remains to be seen. But the Porsche EV certainly has a lot of potential in doing that. Tesla has had great success with its sport sedan model but now it is time to leave this to the big boys, at least that is what Porsche is hoping to achieve with their newest and latest EV model. This vehicle is in its middle stages of development so we are probably not going to see it earlier than 2020, but it promises to overtake the market as soon as it comes out.
