Spoilers on the Internet are inevitable, but particularly frustrating when they arrive in the form of leaks before the actual content airs or is released. All signs point toward a major battle that’s going to take place in the Fortnite battle royale island, but we don’t know the details yet. Here to ensure that doesn’t change are the game’s most prolific leakers.Though Epic has taken steps to hide files and therefore cut down on the number of leaks that happen, a small percentage of Fortnite plans have still managed to trickle out ahead of upcoming updates. That will be the case for the season 9 finale event, which will be at least partially revealed in the game update files.Though leaking is their job, a number of popular Fortnite leakers have agreed that they won’t spoil the upcoming showdown involving the giant pink robot currently jutting out of the island’s volcanic crater.

Epic released Fortnite update version 9.40 early on Wednesday morning, bringing with it the new tactical shotgun variants the company teased earlier in the week, as well as a new skin and some other changes. The most notable addition was a new user interface design, one that’s sharp and clean with simplified access to the most important menus. The new Fortnite user interface is apparent the moment the game loads.Once past the loading screen, users are introduced to a new login screen, one that now features a single prompt to tap the login button. That takes players the familiar, and relatively new itself, game selection screen (above) where players choose Battle Royale, Creative, or Save the World. When in the lobby, users will find that it looks the same until they click the “Options” (or whichever button is applicable to their gaming system) button to pull up the Settings menu.

The Nintendo Switch is a bit lacking in the accessory market, and that means a lot of the deficiencies that came baked into the first-generation version of the product aren’t really getting addressed in a timely fashion. We’re talking features like Bluetooth headphone support and, in the case of controllers, something as simple as an 3.5mm audio jack. The company, which makes a wide-ranging set of low-cost gaming accessories, has a new gamepad called the Faceoff Deluxe Plus for the Switch that comes with a 3.5mm jack built in.According to PDP, the device can handle both game audio and in-game party chat, seemingly a first for the third-party Nintendo accessory market.PDP is also claiming its controller is the first “officially licensed by Nintendo product to feature integrated in-game chat and premium game audio,” so that’s a plus.According to YouTuber Kevin Kenson, who demoed the device for a recent video on his channel, the Faceoff Deluxe Plus only supports in-game audio for titles using the Vivox integration.
